The Tournament Committee of the Southwest Lawn Bowls Association, USLBA, invites entries in
The Southern California Triples
- Sat. - Sun., April 21-22 2007 at Riverside Lawn Bowling Club.
8:30 announcements, 8:45 trial ends.
- · Open to male members in good standing of a club approved by the SWD, or male club members affiliated with National or International organizations.
- · This is a two-day event; the first day is qualifying, with finals on the second day.
- · Format is three 16-end games on Sat. for qualifying, blind draw. The 8 top teams return for the finals on Sunday, which is a self-seeded 8-team knockout (two game minimum). During this time of year, postponement may be necessary due to the weather. Should this happen, it may turn out that the first day of play is a Sunday, and the finals will be scheduled on the next convenient weekend day.
- · Finalists will be determined on the basis of total wins; if tied, then on plus points; if still tied, then on shot percentage; if still tied, then a one-end playoff for the final (8th) position will be played. (No playoffs will be conducted for those teams tied for any of the top 7 positions; in this case, a coin flip will determine the position of seed).
- · This is one of the “points” tournaments, which means that the winners will receive points towards the SW Division All Star Team, and the USLBA National Team.
- · Deadline for receipt of entries is Mon. April 16, 2007. Entries received after this date may be placed on a standby basis, if the number of entrants is even. $75 per team.

If the number of entries exceeds the forms below, any piece of paper with the proper legible info is acceptable. Entries do not have to be sent in all at once. Feel free to tear off.
